Day 01: (Saturday) ARRIVAL
Arriving Cairo staff assists with clearing immigration and customs then transfers you to the Steigenberger Pyramids hotel. Overnight Cairo


VISAS: All travelers to Egypt are required to obtain a visa. Travelers from many countries can get theirs on arrival or on the web at:

Stepped PyramidDay 02: (Sunday) SAQQARA, DAHSHUR, GIZA PLATEAU
A guided tour of Sakkarra, famous for it's Stepped Pyramid. Visit the tomb of Maia, wet nurse to King Tut (and maybe his half sister). Dahshur, with it's famous Bent and Red Pyramids plus the new Imhotep museum. Then visit the Giza Plateau with the seventh wonder of the world, Cheop's Pyramid and the inscrutable Sphinx. Overnight Steigenberger Pyramids / Cairo.

NOTE: Your guide can arrange entry to the Great pyramid, a visit to the solar boat museum or a photo op camel ride while you are there.


Mask of King TutankhamunDay 03: (Monday) GRAND EGYPTIAN MUSEUM
Enjoy a guided tour of the new Grand Egyptian Museum where you will marvel at King Tut's treasures. At over 5 million square feet the museum is the largest in the world dedicated to a single civilization. Overnight Cairo

NOTE: If the Grand Egyptian is not open at the time of your travel you will tour the Egyptian National Museum.



Day 04:
(Tuesday) FLY TO ASWAN, TEMPLE OF PHILAE, UNFINISHED OBELISK, NUBIAN MUSEUM
Staff will transfer you to the airport, assist with checking in and you fly to Aswan. Arriving tour the Temple of Philae, the Pharaohs Granite quarries with the unfinished obelisk and the Nubian Museum, a world class presentation of Nubia's culture and history. After the tour staff will transfer you to the Movenpick Aswan hotel where you will have a Nile view room. Overnight Movenpick Aswan.Abu Simbel

Day 05:
(Wednesday) ABU SIMBEL
Depart your hotel at 8AM for a road trip to Abu Simbel. Arriving tour the famous temples of Ramses then return to Aswan arriving about 5PM. Overnight Movenpick Aswan

Day 06:
(Thursday) ASWAN TO LUXOR
Depart your hotel at 8:30AM for a road journey to Luxor. Along the way stop to tour the Temple of Two Gods at Kom Ombo and the Temple of Horus at Edfu. Arriving Luxor mid-afternoon transfer to the Steigenberger Achti resort where you will have a Deluxe Nile view room. Overnight Luxor

Temple of LuxorDay 07: (Friday) NECROPOLIS OF THEBES, TEMPLES OF KARNAK AND LUXOR
Buffet breakfast followed by an early departure for the West bank and the Necropolis of Thebes where you will visit the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. In the afternoon visit the famous Temples of Karnak and Luxor. Overnight Steigenberger Achti Luxor

Citadel of Salah el DinDay 08:
(Saturday) LUXOR TO CAIRO, OLD CAIRO, CITADEL, KHAN EL KHALILI BAZAAR
Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with checking in for a morning Egyptair flight to Cairo. Arriving enjoy a tour of Old Cairo with its famous churches and synagogue, the Citadel of Salah el Din, bane of the crusaders and the Khan el Khalili bazaar where travelers have been finding bargains since the middle ages before checking in at the Hilton Heliopolis where you will have a Deluxe room. Overnight Cairo.

Day 09:
(Sunday) INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE
Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with exit formalities and checking in for your international departure. (meals on the flight)

Tour Includes:
Domestic flights in Egypt from Cairo to Aswan and Luxor to Cairo in coach (economy) class. All transfers by air-conditioned vehicle relating to the tour program starting with arrival to Cairo. Baggage handling of no more than 1 piece of luggage per person however baggage and personal effects are at the owner's risk at all time during the tour (baggage handling does NOT include tips for bellmen, porters, etc.). Hotels based on double occupancy. Meals as noted. Included meals are in the main dining room, no speciality restaurants or room service. Fees for visiting antiquity sites and museums that are included in the program. Services of an English speaking licensed Egyptologist. Service charges and taxes.
