The Program:
Day 01: (Sunday): Arriving Cairo staff assists with clearing immigration and customs then transfers you to the Intercontinental Pyramids Resort. Overnight Cairo
VISAS: All travelers to Egypt must have a visa. Citizens of most countries can obtain one on arrival. Please let us know what passport you are traveling with and we will confirm whether you can get your’s on arrival.
Day 02: (Monday): Buffet breakfast, check out and drive to Alexandria, the city Alexander the Great built and Cleopatra made famous. Arriving, visit the famous Greco Roman sites including the amphitheatre, Pompey’s Pillar and the catacombs before checking into the Renaissance hotel, located right on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. Overnight Alexandria (B)
Day 03: (Tuesday) Breakfast, check out and drive West to Alamein. There we visit the WWII Museum and the war memorial. Leaving Alamein behind we arrive to Marsa Matruh tour the city. Later We reach the outskirts of Siwa, we tour the old Siwan village of Shali and overnight in Hotel. Overnight Siwa (B, L, D)
Day 04: (Wednesday) After breakfast, check out and we visit Cleopatra's Spring, Mountain of the Dead, Alexander the Great Temple (Temple of the Oracle) and take a donkey-drawn cart for a tour around the city before heading off road to the Great Sand Sea, where we rest at the hot spring of Bir Wahid. Have dinner and relax while looking at the stars. Overnight Camping (B,L,D)
Day 05: (Thursday) After Breakfast we head off road on a 250 mile journey to Bahariya Oasis. We pass by Bahrein, Nawemisa and Sitra Oases. We visit Roman catacombs and pass through magnificent sand dunes of the Great Sand Sea. Upon reaching Bahareya oasis, lunch in restaurant and we check into our hotel and go off road to bath in the hot spring under the stars. The night is spent in a hotel in Bahareya Oasis. Overnight Bahareya (B,L,D)
Day 06: (Friday): Breakfast in Bahareya, we tour the city; visit the temple of Alexander the Great, the tombs of the nobles, the golden mummies and the English mountain. On reaching the White Desert, we start exploring the formations, the santa tree and wind carved sculptors that resemble both human and animal faces. At sunset we explore the formations that resemble the surface of a different planet. Return to Bahareya to overnight. Overnight Bahareya (B,L,D)
Day 07: (Saturday) After breakfast we go off road to the black desert and the dune area. On route to Bahareya we visit the crystal mountain and the area of the wonders with the desert roses and the arch. In Bahareya we enjoy the hot spring. After lunch we head towards Cairo. Arriving enjoy the comfort of the Fairmont Heliopolis hotel. Overnight Cairo (B,L)
Day 08: (Sunday) Staff transfers you to the airport, assists with exit formalities and checking in for your international departure.
Tour Includes: Transfers by air-conditioned vehicle related to the tour starting with arrival in Cairo. Baggage handing of no more than 2 pieces of luggage per person, however, baggage and personal effects are at the owner's risk at all times during the tour. Hotels (based on double occupancy). Meals as outline by B for breakfast, L for lunch, and D for dinner. Fees for visiting antiquity sites and museums. Tours with the services of an English speaking guide. Service charges and taxes.
NOT included are: Items of a personal nature such as entry visa, tips, telephone, laundry, drinks with meals, anything not specifically mentioned as included.
